I love the new map, but I was wondering if it updates any faster now? I mean how the old map updated every day. Does this one update more frequently?

Also the Nether map is pretty interesting, but I suppose one reason it looks so dark is because you dont really need torches in the nether. Lastly, I dont think I'll ever want to have people know exactly where I am in the nether. Perhaps there could be a command to disable the tracker for different dimensions.

yes, around there.
I was testing it using despawning leaves from mass deforestation.
Players locations update at around 5 to 10 seconds, or at least what I saw.
It may be longer, but it seemed pretty fast to me.

Has anyone figured out how to switch the orientation of the map yet?
Not 3D-2D but rather facing a certain direction. I'm probably missing something blatantly obvious

I don't believe you are missing anything, Bu1ld0g ... I had a browse of the DynMap documentation and it appears that the perspective is set server-side and can't be changed by the user.

I could be wrong though and would love to be corrected if I am!

I'm used to the default view being Northeasterly, now its Northwesterly.

Just feels....weird.
