MineRealm 4.50

New features:

• Added the wilderness. Top (northern) 10,000 x 2,000 of the map.
• Added the buddy system.
• Enabled usage of jungle saplings.
• Disabled placing ender chests in The End and The Wilderness.
• Added the aliases "/r" for "/reply" and "/m" for "/msg".
• Removed the "/realm name" command. Replaced with guild name.
• Made it so the teleporter can no longer teleport you into ocean biomes.
• Updated styling for numerous commands.
• Removed multiple spawn points. Everyone now spawns at spawn city.
• Misc bug fixes and improvements.

Here's some notes about the wilderness:

• The wilderness is full PVP
• Explosions are enabled in the wilderness.
• You can't enter the wilderness with any items.
• The wilderness has a 10 block entrance zone where you can't drop/pickup items.
• You take twice the damage in the wilderness.
• Warp commands are disabled in the wilderness.

Here's the new buddy system commands:

• "/buddy add <user>" - add a user to your buddy list.
• "/buddy remove <user>" - removes a user from your buddy list.
• "/buddy list" - displays all users in your buddy list.
• "/b <message>" -sends a message to all mutually added buddies.

The Buddy System! Love it, but of course I would. Can't wait to check out the wilderness when I get home tonight. Where exactly is it though? I'm guessing close to Roanoke but the top 10000? I thought we only went 5000 in either direction. Was a map extension part of this update as well? Either way this should be fun. Having to actually mine there for diamonds, iron, and other essentials for PVP and survival should be great. Also if it is in fact close to Roanoke I say thank ya.

A couple more questions too if I may. Does this mean the wilderness will be wiped occasionally or when new features are added? Are the rules for the wilderness the same as the rest of the map? Griefing, looting are what mostly come to mind especially since explosions are allowed

I am loving this update! Some of the simplest changes can make for some spectacular results.

Personally, I will enjoy having a buddy list, as well as a guild list... I will enjoy finally getting my hands on some jungle saplings (once the price drops, of course)... and I will finally enjoy the anarchy of pvp in the wilderness zone (and i typically hate pvp).

from what i gather, intelli has added a 2kx10k area to the northern side of the map, meaning from spawn it now extends 7k blocks north, but only 5k east south and west.
