You download the .zip attached in the main post. To install a mod, you have to open your minecraft.jar file with a zip program, such as WinRAR, delete the META-INF folder, and then drag the files from the zip into the .jar.

I have updated some stuff, but bugs may have been introduced. I have not encountered any yet though. You will have to start with a clean jar to install the update. Also, MCPatcher no longer works =[

If you find a bug, let me know and should be able to fix it pretty quickly =]

So, i came up with an idea, why not have, say in the top right hand corner of the screen, a minecraft time clock? all it would need, i believe, is to send /time once when you logged in, and would only update if it's laggy and the user types /time into chat.
I don't think this is going to give a player an advantage, as time doesn't really have an effect except for day or night. :)

Hai guys. So, I have an idea. The problem is, I'm not sure what other people are generally used to, and I don't want to spend my now significantly more limited time developing something that won't be used. So, here is my idea:

Sticky Chat
If you've played an mmo, you probably know what I'm talking about. Basically, it would look something like this:

types: /g Hello guys!
[Guild] Hello Guys!
types: What are you up to?
[Guild] What are you up to? <--- No /g
types: /msg Intelli I am from PMC!
<Message> ShaddowDemon >> Intelli: I am from PMC!
types: I can has OP? <--- No /msg Intelli
<Message> ShaddowDemon >> Intelli: I can has OP?

In order to have you remember what chat you are stickied to, I think I would have to implement tags at the beginning of the chat line when you go to type, or perhaps between the chat window and the place where you type. The tags would look like [M], [R], [G], [P], , with appropriate colors for each. If I put it above the edit text line, I would probably spell them out.

Also, an easier solution would be to just auto-fill the /g or /msg parts when you open chat, but I think it is less... nice that way.

"Like" this post if you would like to see this implemented, and post replies if you would like to suggest any changes to the idea.

That is a great idea.
I have to ask about the "credits" in the top corner, being that it is constantly sending the /credit request wouldn't it generate additional lag to the server?

Really impressive though shaddow! :)

It only sends the command every 3 minutes to keep the counter in sync with your actual credit balance. It increments when you place or break a block. But your actual credit balance is based off of more than that.

Suprisingly, this thread is still in the "Recent Posts" Section, 2 days after the last post.
Anyways, when sending credits, the counter at the top left only subtracts the amount AFTER the tax. This is fixed, though, after the client polls your credits again.

Thanks for letting me know. I'll hopefully be working on it this weekend and add that to my to-do list. I think there are a few problems with the credit transactions to be honest. If you send/receive credits and happen to notice the counter not updating, let me know the amount you gave/received (after tax). I didn't do extensive testing on it because it would throw away credits and it isn't vital for it to immediately be correct.... and I don't trade very often =/

Suggestion:
"Highlight" the user's IGN in public chat, buddy chat, and guild chat. What I mean is, make it a color that's not already used. It greatly helps the user to pick out their own messages for reference.

Like... red, no.... Orange!
Also... Wheat is a bit glitchy. Sometimes the client counts up credits that you don't really receive, or vice versa.

Hmm... there probably isn't much I can do about that without a good bit of work.

Ah, so giving your own name a color? That shouldn't be too hard. I'll keep that in mind and add it in eventually. Sorry it took me two months to respond... classes have kept me busy!

Having said that, it would come a bit later than now. I just updated this to 1.4.2 and added a sound control feature :)
