Upcoming Features and Changes

Parties
- Maximum party size will be changed to 6 players
- Experience bonus when mining, building, or slaying monsters.
- Experience split between party members.

Experience bonus chart:
2 players = 10% party bonus exp
3 players = 15% party bonus exp
4 players = 20% party bonus exp
5 players = 25% party bonus exp
6 players = 30% party bonus exp

Experience splitting:
  • In a party of 3 players, Player A breaks a block. (1 exp point to be given out)
  • 20% of the experience is assigned to Player A (0.20 exp). This leaves 0.80 experience.
  • The rest of the experience is split between the players. (0.26 exp per player)
  • Each player then receives the party bonus (in this case 15%) on the experience they are to receive
  • Player A would receive 0.54 exp total
  • Player B would receive 0.30 exp total
  • Player C would receive 0.30 exp total
Please note, that in order for a party member to receive party experience, they must be within 50 blocks of the player receiving the experience.

Guilds
To create a guild, you must meet the following requirements:

1. Be a leader of a party.
2. All members of the party must be at least level 10 (including yourself)
3. Have at least 15,000 credits to pay the creation fee.

If you meet the requirements, type /guild create, and then confirm.

Upon creating a guild, you will have room for up to 10 members. To expand the guild, type /guild expand. There is a fee for each expansion. The maximum guild size is 100 members. See the following chart for expansion fees:
  • 15 members: 5,000 credits
  • 20 members: 15,000 credits
  • 25 members: 25,000 credits
  • 30 members: 35,000 credits
  • 35 members: 50,000 credits
  • 40 members: 50,000 credits
  • 45 members: 50,000 credits
  • 50 members: 50,000 credits
  • 55 members: 50,000 credits
  • 60 members: 50,000 credits
  • 65 members: 50,000 credits
  • 70 members: 50,000 credits
  • 75 members: 50,000 credits
  • 80 members: 50,000 credits
  • 85 members: 50,000 credits
  • 90 members: 50,000 credits
  • 95 members: 50,000 credits
  • 100 members: 50,000 credits
Other guild commands are the same as party commands. For example, /guild users, and /g <message> for guild chat.

Leveling
To level up, you must gain experience points (NOT the experience orbs dropped by default. This system is separate.) You can see your current experience, level, and more by typing /profile.

Experience points can be gained by building, mining, killing mobs, and participating in party quests.

Party Quests
You can participate in party quests to gain experience. For more information, see the already existing party quest area in spawn city, in the subway (under the spawn building).

Worlds
- To access the Nether, you must be at least level 10.
- To access "The End", you must be at least level 50.

Realms: [IMPLEMENTED]
All aspects of the current realm system will be remain as-is.

Spawns: [IMPLEMENTED]
You are automatically assigned to a spawn when you first join the game.

Realm Warps:
The "/spawn" command will take you to the spawn you're a member of. You can join a different spawn by using "/spawn join". However, to join a spawn, you must be at that spawn point.

Honestly, I think that guilds should cost much less than 15,000. Maybe 5-7,000. And upgrades should be less too. For smaller realms (such as Terrabound, with two active players actually working for the realm), it will be very hard to get 15,000 credits in the few hours that we actually play.

Other than that, it is great. Can't wait for party quests. :)

OFF TOPIC EDIT: Screw you, aguy. I was gonna have first post...

Actually, I'm a bit confused like Jt.

Very confused.

Sounds awesome, however what does this mean:
Realms:
Realms will be defined as the 1000x1000 area around a spawn point. You are automatically assigned to a realm when you first join the game.
Does that just mean you spawn in a random area within 1000x1000 box around a spawn when you first join?

Also, I find it hilarious that the people who yell "too chocolatey!" on other threads are in full support of these changes. Hypocrites.

Agreed, Fritter.

This is dark chocolate for me.

Does this mean the map will only be 1k by 1k? Will we be losing all our realms? Is the map expanding?

OH THE QUESTIONS D:

To-note:

- The leveling system will (obviously) link in with http://minerealm.com/rankings/
- Guilds will be shown in various places. For example, http://userfolio.com/uploads/images/clip5617190_3Kb.png
- The nether will not be wiped until the leveling system is implemented.
- Expanding the map is currently postponed, due to the fact that it would take up extremely large amounts of disk space if we made it any larger. This is still something we're looking into though.

That's already implemented. It's the multiple spawn point system. The only difference is that you'll be able to choose your spawn point by using /realm join.
