This might sound far fetched but I personally think that 0.5 rc per block mined and placed is a bit to low for some types of blocks.

Now think about diamond, right diamond veins aren't that rich for every vein u find. So how about make those blocks worth 1 or 2 rc per block u mine of it. i'm not talking about placing. because people would start abusing that and things would definatly get out of hand.

Also blocks like dirt , sand , cobble stone deserve as original the 0.5 credits per block as they are very rich in supply. Same with coal since i already mine a full double chest in one realm.

Ofcourse this might take some time from the developers of Minerealm to put this together. Though it would be easyer for the new people as everyone to have a realm to store their stuff from death sooner.

I would say thank you for even trying to read this.
I know i don't really have much sence in my sentence structure but i'll be sure u can manage to read and all critizism are welcome.

Greetings Azillion.

Problem #1: I don't think this can be achieved without a bunch of hard work, and this is not worth it.

Problem #2: Diamond ore is worth 90.5 credits when you mine the block, because you get the .5 credits as well as the sale to somebody who buys it in /trade for 100 credits (you only get 90 from them because of the 10% fee).

Problem #3: This is basically useless, because if you find diamond ore, say a vein of 4, its only like 6 credits more, and selling the 4 diamond you just found for 360 (again, the 10% fee of 400), makes the 6 credits from the mining of the ore seem useless.

Add on to problems #2 and #3: If you cant find a buyer of diamonds for 100, you can sell them for like 70 and still dwarf the extra credit bonus you would like.

Problem #4: You might now say, "Mining diamond ore should give you 50 credits, then my suggestion wont be simply dwarfed!" Now, the economy has some problems to fix.

Interesting idea, but I disagree. In addition to the issues Jack brought up about diamonds being worth so much more than the value of breaking a diamond block, you could also go the other way and say that the most common and/or quickest to mine blocks deserve fewer credits. This would mean that sand, gravel, and dirt would be worth fewer than the standard 0.5 credits, and the most common "credit farming" methods would be less effective. This, of course, would contradict your goal of making it easier for new players to get enough credits for a realm. I understand that this particular change wasn't part of your suggestion, but I think once you open up the Pandora's box of changing credit values for certain blocks, something like this could easily happen.

That isn't exactly true. I tore down some walls I built a month ago, and got credits back for them. I'm not sure if this is an error related to selling the realm, or whether there is a time limit beofre the blocks give credits again, but you can earn credits for breaking blocks you placed yourself.

I've noticed this too while editing some realms in preparation for the new map. I suspect that you don't get credits for mining a block if your placing of that block appears in the block logs. Since those are, I think, kept for 30 days (the maximum time that a mod can roll back from), you could then get credits from re-mining stuff that you placed more than 30 days ago.
