How Unbreaking works is pretty common knowledge. What did you think it did?


I thought Unbreaking III broke 3x as many blocks as no unbreaking.

I wouldn't. I'd rather have Fortune III and Efficiency on separate picks, but not everyone plays the same way. This is the most highly enchanted pick in the game, which is not easy to get from the enchantment table. The auction is for people who want that.

Not quite Super - Unbreaking means each time it is used it only has a 50% ( 100/(1+unb lvl) ) chance of actually using up durability

unb 1 - 50% (2x as many uses)
unb 2 - 33.3333333% (3x)
unb 3 - 25% (4x)

Easy rule for remembering the multiplier is to add 1 to the level :)
