Post Massive trade interception
I came here today to report a loss of many items, not limited to 48 diamonds. I had died due to a suffocation glitch, and while Bob (The name is a bit different, but the server went offline shortly after, so I didn't have time to catch the numbers) rescued my items and attempted to return them to me, Shepo(once again, the numbers) intercepted our trade (at the designated trading area) and stole many of my items, including the large amount of diamonds.

He knew exactly what he was doing, as he stated "hahahahaha" after thieving them. Many members that were on at the time can verify this statement, and Bob can verify our trade.

I can completely verify this statement. In fact, I was the one to insist Slugbird, to post on the Forums about this. I remember seeing in chat Shepo saying 'Hahaha' and Slugbird saying 'Give it back Shepo'.

I hope this is helpful Slug,

I don't want to seem like a huge As_, but without pictures/evidence it is just your word against his.

If someone provides evidence of some sort other then a written outline of what happened, then this is more likely to get handled with. Such as the culprit being banned.

+1

From all that I know, you might just frame someone who you don't like

Except that I have witnesses, and everyone involved can verify what happened.

He guys guess what is used in court systems as evidence... yea thats right.. WITNESSES!

I highly doubt someone would come on here to the forums, and make their account TODAY for reporting a false robbery... If he has enough witnesses, then i dont see the problem with Having no pictures. Like he said, he was in a suffocation glitch (Which happens to me ALOT when going to /trade) and had no time to take pictures, because last i recall, If you are suffocating, you are in a wall and unable to see anything.

I personally take his word for what has happened, because it has infact happened to me a couple of times (Less valuable items that i had plenty of that i was trading E.I: Sugar, Wheat, Fish), and if you look at it... It kinda makes since since people in trade have a habit of seeing items and they think 'OOOOH GIMMIE GIMMIE' then laughing at the person after they get it. Again, has happened to me before.

So i Personally believe Slugbirds story and I hope you get your things back.

where can i find these rules? the usual stickies don't contain them?

Also, isn't it quite impossible to enter trade rooms nowadays?

The rules you're talking about were created by an admin who banned himself not too long ago. They were never actually approved by the head admin, and were more along the line of guidelines than rules.

A word to anyone filing a ban request: We go by the "pics or it didn't happen" philosophy when banning people. If you don't have evidence, don't bother posting.
