 Re: End Portal Coordinates.
The End has no protected blocks, and the person in question simply wanted to know why you wanted to visit. All you have to do is announce why you want to enter. Simple, quick, and requires no hassle.

 Re: End Portal Coordinates.
Chooz wrote: So, my friend is still somewhat new to Minecraft and he wanted to see what The End looked like. I tried getting coordinates from someone in pub chat but apparently that person has taken ownership of The End and refused to show me where to find a portal unless I told said person what my business was in The End.
Don't think I should have to do that so I don't want coordinates from that person.
I'm posting this to see if anyone who knows where to find an End portal is willing to show me without being difficult about it. Not asking for a home address, just some direction to a portal.
I personally don't think The End is that great, but my friend is stubborn and wants to see it anyways. If anyone can help me out, please do. Thanks. Considering that the end pretty much follows the nether rules.. i can see why mspacman is protective. That being said, it is public knowledge that pacman has mad the end their home. If it were you, wouldnt yoiu be protective? I honestly can see where MsPacman is coming from, especially after they were already stolen from, for the person to jump into the void with Pacman's Stolen items. the end on minerealm has no dragon, it has nothing of use, and there is no exit.... Your friend would have a better experience i think, on single player, where there is a dragon, and they have the option of using creative to fly around to look at the pillars and such.. Im sure if you had said to visit, they would have let you in. There was no need for this post. Just my 2cents as Founder of the Original End Town, i know how people can be when they have the ability to pretty much pillage a town.. it happened once. it doesnt need to happen again.

 Re: End Portal Coordinates.
Just because someone has made a home in the End or the Nether does not mean that they own the entire dimension and can control all access to it. Maybe more than one person wants to live there? Or maybe they want to start a skyblock style island? That being said, if you want access to the End, just use some Eyes of Ender and find one that way.

I'm pretty sure all of the portals are on private realms and are probably blocked off by those living in the end, however I agree with you about how one person shouldn't have sole access to one dimension.

Multiple people have access to it because, guess what, we're trusted not to steal(not like that will do them good) and grief. Want access? Ask the owners of the realms that the portals are on. last i checked, portals were not guaranteed to be public, as they can be privately owned. >_>

 Re: End Portal Coordinates.
Man, i know giving the coords is not considered anything bad or anything, but minerealm is vanilla. Why not get the blaze rods, and find endermen for their perals. Or even get them by trade. but minerealm must remain vanilla. I think you should get the eyes of ender if your friend wants to see it, or look up the end on youtube. -miningCalum

The only nether rule that's different from the overworld is stealing is allowed, and the end is the same as the overworld.

I remember Ceteri being allowed to ruin our town, breaking our blocks. I dont remember staff helping us when we were raided.
