I find it funny when im bored to watch them, and when im in the nether its always good... but when im watching chat for selling things, sometimes they get in the way, especially with all the PvP Lately.

Yes, I love this idea. Sometimes I don't mind them, but other times they can be really annoying.

but make joined game and left game notices toggle-able aswell if possible as they can be just as annoying as death notices at times
and we always have tab and /online to see if anyone is online

I agree with the above. A toggle for the 'deathsentence' and one for logon/off would be nice.
