Secondly, we don't just pluck anyone from the server to join Vortex. We choose the people because of their specific aspects. For example, Eatrab was chosen for his building skills and artistic touch so that he could make Vortex realms look even better. Dlgn was chosen for his skills in mathematics and business. Ghastly18, similarily, was chosen for his skills in business and money-management. Cockroach14 was chosen for his great skills in PvP. Legit_Neymar was chosen for his skills in PvP, his archetectual designing potential, and his skills in PvP. MrSark980 was chosen for his great skills in PvP and his close friendship with Vortex members. I was chosen by Vortex for my intelligence, negotiation skills, and my usual civility and composure.

What you just did, SneakerHead, is called stereotyping. I'd appreciate if your stereotyping would cease. Thank you.

Guys, keep in mind that some of us are incapable of playing any more than 45 minutes a day. When you talk about making 25k in a day, that's fine and dandy, but some of us can't spend from breakfast to dinner on a video game. Not trying to be insulting, but seriously, check your calculations. We all know how long it actually takes to set up a build or to equip yourself for a terraforming job, and when you spread those raw hours across a minimal per-day time frame, it'll take weeks to acomplish a simple task.

This is exactly right. Those who do play al day, and those who have 1 million credits just sitting around can afford this. This is especially the case with me, which is why in about 1.5 years on MineRealm (I joined the forums much later) I have only got 7 realms and 60k.

Maybe one of the best ways to correct this issue, is to let the rich players, if they really want someone on their guild, donate enough to let the not so rich in.

Regardless of whether the prospective member could afford the fee, this would be useful for recruiting, and to determine how selective your guild will be in choosing new members. If you don't really care who joins, you can make membership available to anybody willing and able to pay the fees. If you want to recruit some really good players (good at PVP/building/whatever your guild values most), you could alternatively offer to cover their fees.
