Dearest People of Minerealm,

I was recently banned due to an unfortunate mistake that I made which I wish to address directly, in the hopes that others do not follow in my footsteps and fall from grace with me into the firey inferno below.

It was in this firey inferno, the Nether, that I stumbled upon and took up arms against my lord Intelli not once, but twice within a short period of time, due to a burning desire to obtain curios for a museum which I help run, and did not notice what he was doing. In my own greed, lust, and foolishness I let my ambitions run away with logic, and stabbed Intelli in the back a total of 4 times. Upon killing Intelli the first time, when I went through a Nether Portal to PvP and found myself not in the destroyed Nether Spawn I was expecting but a neat tunnel with Intelli mining at the end of it, I rushed out of the Nether with my newfound treasure in my inventory. Later, after hunting a person who had pvp on, I thought I saw him go into the 420 Store which has a Nether Portal so I followed him and dove into the portal, and found Intelli mining yet again. For want of more curios, angry bloodlust at losing my attackers, or pure greed I struck Intelli again. As I made for the portal, ecstatic at my 5th kill on the server, I was kicked and banned.

I type these words with great remorse, as this is the first ban that I have ever recieved, and it is a terrible feeling. It is not terrible however because I cannot play on Minerealm, but because I failed myself and my server with my terrible actions.

I implore you Intelli to accept my sincerest apology, and if unbanned I vow to never interfere with the works of people in the Nether ever again.

If not, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the amazing amounts of work that you do to maintain and make this server better, and also to thank you personally for all the great times and people that playing on your server allowed me to have/meet. To all the other people who I have encountered on Minerealm, I say to you that I hope my time on the server made the game more enjoyable for you, or failing that, went completely unnoticed and did not hurt your game experience in any way, shape or form.

Thank You For Reading,

Ramien123

We welcome change and openness; for we believe that freedom and security go together, that the advance of human liberty can only strengthen the cause of world peace. There is one sign the Staff can make that would be unmistakable, that would advance dramatically the cause of freedom and peace. General Secretary Intelli, if you seek peace, if you seek prosperity for the Soviet Minerealm and a great spawn city, if you seek liberalization, come here to this topic. Mr. Intelli, appeal this ban. Mr. Intelli, Mr. Intelli, unban this man!

Terra Nova; Your Future, Through Our Eyes.

Wow you were banned for killing a person (intelli) in the NETHER.

It is the nether I am surprised you were banned, and in my opinion completely a very un-just ban.

You killed him multiple times. I can see why you would want to. He may have some amazing stuff. But when you do it many times, that's just being greedy. You have seemed like a nice person and I know what it's like to go on a lust for items. I do think that you should be unbanned.

how is that being greedy? The nether is only place PvP is even on and people actually go there to fight believe it or not. So how is that greedy going after some fun PvP time?

With all due respect, Intelli, this was an unfair ban. Ramien killed you while you both were in the nether, which by server rules, is perfectly legal. And although the following quote was never legalized, it is from a rulebook which is pretty much spot on for the server rules.

Player Vs. Player (Section 1)

Proximity of Spawn (1.1): Spawn camping is the act of remaining within the proximity of Spawn and blocking or standing guard in an area directly outside of Spawn and killing anyone that comes near. As of April 30th, this action is not a rule infraction.
Over-World and the Nether (1.2): Player versus player combat is allowed, provided both players have PvP enabled. If a player is lured in to enabling PvP by another player (perhaps lying as to what the command does, or telling him to "trust" him), it is that own player's fault for listening to him. PvP in Realms follows the same protocol: both player must have PvP enabled. In the Nether, PvP is enabled at all times, so expect PvP combat when you enter.
Stalking (1.3): As of July 22nd, the repeated killing and / or following of a player in any accessible premises is allowed, as PvP combat can be turned off by choice, and as such, there is no need to protect those who wish to keep it enabled.
Indirect or Unauthorized PvP (1.4): It is quite possible to cause the death of a player without physically attacking them. Pushing players so that they end up in harms way at spawn (into a lava pit, manhole to bedrock, hungry spider, etc) is a rule infraction. Additionally, setting fire underneath a player with PvP disabled is a bannable offense.
Threatening Indirect PvP (1.5): In any realms that aren't spawn realms*, it is acceptable to force a player out of one's realm via threatening indirect PvP (lava bucket, flint and steel, etc.). However, the indirect PvP is only allowed provided the player gave 3 verbal warnings (at least one through private messaging with the warned player), and waited 30 seconds before carrying out the killing.

In the spawn realms, even with adequate warning given, players may not partake in any form of indirect PvP with another player.

*Any realm that costs 50,000 Realm Credits when purchased from nature.
Ramien123 killed you in the nether, which is not a bannable offense. It, however, might not have been the smartest decision for obvious reasons, but nevertheless I have concluded that his ban is 100% unnecessary.

I would like to point out two minor facts that were overlooked.

A) The ban was perfromed by Intelli.

B)

Edit: Another factor to his unban is that Ramien has been a loyal rule abiding player since 2.0. He has not committed previous offenses of my knowledge, and even this surprised me as he has always had quite a bit of common sense. He really sounds sincere in his apology, and in my opinion, deserves to be unbanned.

Excuse me, but I do not want ANY Intelli bashing in MY ban appeal.

I was banned because I did something wrong, not because INTELLI did something wrong.

I am asking for INTELLI to forgive me, not for everyone to jump on some illogical "Intelli was wrong blah blah blah" bandwagon.

I know that your hearts are in the right place guys, but don't bring Intelli's judgement into question when it is mine that is under scrutiny.
