Re: Make PvP Logging Illegal. EpicBros is being smart here. How bout we have it just in the nether? No arguments whatsoever. Half as many ban requests.
Would actually populate the nether, as well as reduce a signifigant amount of lag from all the pvp toggling commands and server kill counts.

It would pretty much kill off people watching PVP tourneys (because their PVP would be on by default), and, in general, it would be a big step backwards, in my opinion. ~dlgn

Re: Make PvP Logging Illegal. I'll be completely honest with you, I was only really being half serious.
As I see it pvp is a joke in this game. I don't think I really need to get into how basic it is, such a shallow level of depth that really can't be expanded upon isn't something I find appealing. I'm sure in certain pre-planned scenarios it could be fun, but 99% of the time its kids bashing into each other with swords at spawn...followed about the whining over who took who's crappy helm.
To me this game is about 2 things, exploration and building. Its fine if some people want to pvp, I could care less. But when things get so absurd that people are proposing that someone gets BANNED just for logging out (yes I know how this could be cheating)...well thats the last straw so to speak.
PVP is 10% gameplay and 90% complaining.
If you want to take it to the nether, I guess that would clear up the loiterers at spawn. Its certainly not going to clear up the incessant bickering though.
Oh and by the way, getting banned for logging is never going to get implemented. You think the mods care to hold your hand that much? No, they don't.

Re: Make PvP Logging Illegal. Honestly, I couldn't care less about PvP, with all the drama of "oh! u looted my kill!" or "ur a cowerd for logging! im gunna ban req u!" It simply doesn't matter. Adding this rule would be pointless and wouldn't help anything but more spam in the chat filled with arguments over this.

Re: Make PvP Logging Illegal. PvP logging is COMPLETELY unfair, so why don't you make it so when you got hit for the last say 30 seconds, and you log, you automatically die, and it counts as a kill. That's what my opinion is, even though I'm probably gonna get a lot of negative quotes.
