Post [ACCEPTED] Suggestion: Nether for the Wilderness
So, due to there being no nether in the wild, there are certain useful materials that you can not obtain. Glowstone and blaze rods are the obvious choices, but there are also some other useful things, like soul sand. Since it seems like the Wild will be a permanent part of MineRealm, I feel that it should have full functionality.

The version of the nether for the Wild will be exceptionally dangerous, however. All of the rules of the wild would still apply... and perhaps, the zombie pigmen would be hostile...

Now, the implementation details of this would be up to Intelli, since there are multiple ways to do it. The main problem I see with it unfortunately is that the nether for the Wild can only be 250x1250 blocks, making it extremely narrow. It is possible that there wouldn't even be a usable blaze spawner. I still think it would be worth it, however.

It would be cool to create a border in the Nether, people in the wilderness can create a portal and go down, but not cross the border whilst in the nether. You wouldn't be able to cross the border from the nether to the wildy-nether either.

Its also necessary if the wilderness is to be used as a 'fresh start' as some people are doing.

There are no important updates to the nether right now. But when there is, this will certainly be important, especially if wiping the wilderness becomes a method for introducing new stuff.

Intelli could also make the wilderness larger if the nether's narrowness becomes a problem.

Time to bump this thread, as here are the main reasons for nether in wilderness.

1) It is land why no nether?
2) You cannot make a potion without netherwart which is only obtained through nether
a. potions allow for better base wars
b. also potions are also good for booby traps(sorry for swear word) ex: instant damage
3) easier transportation among wilderness
4) more glowstone to be mined
5) ghast's tears, blaze rods, eye of enders

^ Catch my drift? We need this implemented!!!! A.S.A.P

So there's a nether for wilderness, but the idea for nether expansion on that side was rejected. Where is this place being implemeted
