Hey everyone,
Currently, the way I see it, the Nether takes away from Minecraft the way it was supposed to be played. When traveling, you should be going through the overworld, exploring through new areas, stumbling upon majestic builds by other players that you would have never otherwise seen.
I (personally) suggest that we remove the ability for the Nether to be easily used for travel. This would also encourage usage of alternative travel, such as the subway (which is also safer).
I believe that this would give MineRealm more of a classic gameplay experience.
Here are a couple ideas for how to go about this:
Option 1 (Poll #9)
Make it so when going back through a portal from in the Nether, you always exit through the same portal that you entered the Nether through.
Option 2 (Poll #3)
Reset the Nether every #hours/days. This has downsides, as any structures built in the Nether would be lost, no Nether bases could be created, etc. To note, glowstone would not be reset.
Option 3 (Poll #17)
Disable the Nether entirely.
Option #4 (Poll #5)
Keep the Nether as-is

Vote and discuss. Also feel free to suggest alternative options.
