In my opinion, players who don't show activity should be kicked.

AFK should not be encouraged at all.

A lot of players here would disagree with that.
Gold farms, Iron farms, Slime farms etc...

People will always disagree when it is about something they are gaining profit from.

Remember that moments where you don’t see a mob for hours? The next moment there are 10 mobs at a time? AFK gather farms are the cause

Depends on the farm. Most are auto-harvesting making your last point mute..
